App: DashTown (the "App")
Fuztec Ltd. ("we", "us", "our") provides the App. This policy explains what we do - and, more importantly, do not - do with your data.
Summary
DashTown does not require a user account. The camera feed that controls the game is processed on your device and is not uploaded. We use Apple and RevenueCat to process purchases, manage subscription access, and understand subscription performance. This involves limited purchase and technical data, as described below.
Camera and motion data
The App uses your iPhone's camera to track your body movement (jogging, jumping, squatting, leaning) so you can control the game.
- This video feed is processed entirely on your device, in real time, using on-device motion and pose analysis.
- We never record, store, save, upload, or transmit the camera feed or any images derived from it. It is not sent to us, to any server, or to any third party.
- The moment a frame is analysed for movement, it is discarded.
- You will be asked to grant camera access via iOS's standard permission prompt. You can revoke this at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera, though the App will not function without it.
What we don't collect
We do not collect, and the App does not contain code to collect:
- Names or email addresses through account registration (there are no user accounts)
- Location data
- Advertising identifiers
- Crash reports sent to us
- Data used to track you across other companies' apps or websites for advertising
- Your camera feed, or any frame from it, at any point
Local gameplay statistics
The App stores session dates, duration, distance, jumps, squats, and totals on your device to show your progress. These statistics are not sent to us or RevenueCat.
Payments and subscriptions
Subscriptions are purchased and billed through your Apple ID via Apple's App Store, using Apple's In-App Purchase / StoreKit system. We never see or receive your payment card details. Apple's processing of your payment and account information is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, not this one.
To manage and verify subscriptions, the App uses RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives purchase history, subscription status, a generated anonymous App User ID, and limited technical information such as device and App version information. This lets us validate purchases, restore subscriptions, and unlock Premium access. RevenueCat does not receive your camera feed, body-tracking data, or local gameplay statistics. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for more about its handling of information.
We also use RevenueCat's subscription analytics and reports to understand purchases, renewals, cancellations, and revenue. This is why our App Store privacy disclosure lists Purchase History for both App Functionality and Analytics. The App does not supply your name or email address to RevenueCat, and we do not use subscription data for cross-app advertising tracking or send it to advertising or attribution integrations.
Support requests
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include so we can respond. Please do not send passwords or payment card details.
Children's privacy
The App is intended for users aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, contact us using the details below so we can investigate and address the request.
Your rights (UK GDPR / EU GDPR)
Because the App itself does not create accounts or profiles, there is little personal data of yours in our possession to exercise rights over. Where limited subscription data is processed on our behalf (see Payments and subscriptions above), you have the normal rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, and objection to processing, which you can exercise by contacting us below. If we introduce any feature that processes more personal data, we will update this policy first and describe the relevant legal basis and your rights at that time.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you have concerns about our data practices.
International users
The App is distributed through the App Store in selected countries and regions. We do not sell or share your personal information as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or similar state laws, and we do not use it for advertising. The limited subscription data described above is processed to operate and verify subscriptions and provide subscription analytics; no camera or body-tracking data is involved.
Changes to this policy
If we change what the App does - for example, adding additional analytics, cloud saves, or accounts in future - we will update this policy and change the "Last updated" date above before that feature goes live. Material changes will be flagged in the App itself where practical.
